I guess if this was the first song I heard from Afterlife, probably it is..since then I am engaged with this chill music. However, the first time I went to Café del mar was in 1982, long time ago, and before Padilla was on the loop..

Such a beautiful song, haunting at times. I'll always relate this to the time when Princess Diana had died. BBC Radio 1 were playing this on a roter of songs throughout that day. I know now if I turn on Radio 1 and hear this, then I have to hear it all the way through. Then turn on my TV as something big probably has happened.
