Boy...this record is like a time machine. I hear it, and I am back in 1977, The Inferno, New York City. My friends and I would meet in Marcy Avenue, J train, into the City. All 10 of us would walk in... and we could notice the reaction of the crowd.
"The real dancers are here". I would hustle to this with my partner... turn her to my left... go into 5 quick spins... and our hands would meet, and fall back in step... all in 3 seconds! The crowd loved it. As I walked off the floor...they'd approach. "So... where you learn to dance like that? (Me) Brooklyn!
