When I wonder how I can stay in a church that has so many failings- I come to things like this and drink of the deep springs of Spirit that no human sin and failure can destroy--tarnish for too many alas yes, but never destroy..

Oh, if St. Francis could sing, I imagine him sounding like this (and maybe looking like him too here)!

Somebody said in a comment here that Jesus never said to go into all the world and make denominations. Praise God for truth. What we must understand is that we are all One Spirit and one body in The Lord Jesus Christ, STOP the strife and confusion, and walk in love as we have been commanded to do. I listen to this song daily, and it never fails to be a source of comfort, grace and immense peace. Thank you for posting this so much. I mean if you really think about it what else is described in denominations??....money. God loves us all, we just need to be still long enough to get a revelation of that fact

I thank you, for helping me to hold on to my faith. My faith, when my world has come crashing down. It is Jesus who has lifted me, each and every time.

We sing this Hymn at our Church. "Only in God" can we be humbled. Who we all are does not come from Money, Success, and our I.Q. Levels, but "only in God" can we have true faith in. Like Paul said, "When everything in our life disappears, faith, hope, and love remain, but the greatest of these is Love". "God's love never fails because God's love never dies".

I was asked sing this foa a funeral mass this morning. . lord give me strength and conference amen.

I love this song. I pray that the evil one stay away from my family, He is infiltrating my family through allcohol.

I am not a catholic but this song has the anointing of God on it.
