this never made top of the charts red river rock was in 1st place for weeks

My grandpa told me that he had this song in the military as a wake up song in 60s in sweden.

I once had a friend sleeping over and the following morning we had to leave early... so I just grabbed my iPod-dock and played this song next to his head. He woke up just fine.

This got me taken off the air on the radio on the USS Saratoga CVA 60 . I played it one AM but forgot to flip the switch off for the officer,s they did not like being woke up at 6 AM.

I remember seeing them play live at Notre Dame Bandstand, near Bethlehem PA. they were great. I graduated from Notre Dame High School.

I used to play this to wake my children up in the mornings.

This is one hard rockin tune.... even by today's standards love that sax!
