a very pure soprano voice She is well known in Italy. We know that sho lost her voice at some time due to a disease but out of determination she regained in full. A real soprano, never a "prima Donna"

I AM A KEEN CYCLIST AND WAS WATCHING THE TOUR DE FRANCE ON SUNDAY TO SEE BRADLEY WIGGINS TRIUMPH IN THAT RACE,HOWEVER MY ENJOYMENT WAS QUICKLY SPOILED BY THE CATERWALLING,VULGAR CRUDE VOICE OF MS GARRATT WHO IS MOST DEFINITLY NOT AN OPERA SINGER,NEVER HAVE I HEARD SUCH A DREADFUL RENDITION OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM SHE WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE HER BREATHING TECHNIQUE (WELL SHE HAS NONE) IS APPAULLING.

My mum trained as a soprano with her at the RAM, and apparently she was pretty rubbish back then.

She should be created a Dame of the British Empire!
