hi Tom...I wonder if Mark's sister, "Jean (Dinning) & husband, Red Surrey" were influenced by the early 50s when the "Dinning Sisters" were still well known when they created this record (?) 1954 would have been the year for George Cukor's movie: "A Star Is Born" and the flipside, "You Win Again", was a 1952 Hank Williams song. (Also note this coincidence: In the movie, "A Star Is Born", the male protagonist was an alcoholic...The very same disease that kept "Mark Dinning" away from a successful recording career.) This was my first single, I was fourteen years old maybe fifteen and bougt my first record player with the speaker in the lid, the player was demonstrated with this single and I was only willing to buy the player if it came with the single. I am now 70 years old the player has gone but I still have the single and still love both sides, maybe I even love the other side better. Thank you for posting it.
