Maysa is from Baltimore, MD. I'm not sure how she connected with Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick of Incognito. I agree with Garry La Vine, Check out "INCOGNITO"!! Take a listen to The Brand New Heavies also, they're in the same ball-park (I think).

I'm so glad that I don't follow the norm of popular music. I feel I would have missed out on so many artist who are so far under the radar. Not to take anything from current singers or musicians. But so many artist don't get their fair share of play time. which is sad in today's main stream music.

I 1st heard this song back in 2000, sang by Jhelisa.  I fell in love with it instantly and didn't think I could love this song even more but then I heard this version and I'm hooked.  It's slightly different but has so much soul, warmth and passion.  Beautiful song.
