His songs have truly helped me through depression -I use to listen to this song on repeat because it reminded me of spring , everything blooming and recovering from a frost. It gave me hope and to this day I am so thankful for it.
i can't understand humans ... how can't this beautyfull heart breaking song not be worldwide known and other songs that speak about asses and bootys and i dunno what get to be the popular ones... this is music people! This is ART!
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair.
I love Olafur Arnalds... This music always let me think deeply about everything..and I can get lost knowing that I'm still safe. Maybe it's because I have my own world sometimes... not that cruel and unhappy like reality.. and it's not hope.. It's just an idea, a vision of the world where everything can be normal...just normal...
The saddest part (in my opinion) is around 2:05, when everything else stops and it's just the piano. When the song gets to that part, I can just FEEL the sorrow, y'know what I mean? All in all, it's a beautiful and depressing song.
Your soul is gorgeous, a subtle chaotic peace , divine, enlightening , enriching , also sad , understanding .I'm so glad I stumbled upon your masterpiece. Its hurts me and I thank you!
