Everybody
Get on the floor
What the hell’d you come here for?
Girl it ain’t no use
You might as well get loose
Work your body like a whore
Say everybody —

We’re gonna show you mothers how to scream
People everywhere, loosen up your hair
Take a deeper breath and sing along with me, yes

If you've ever danced to this song played real loud on a sound system with a bunch of Prince fans, then you know the feeling and why this is his baddest dance jam.
Prince left a heck of a legacy not only music wise but also in performances he remains to be one of my greatest artists I have recordings from damn near day one rest in peace Prince you may not be here any longer but your music will live on for generations to come
Imagine hearing this when it first hit the airwaves, we went insane, radio stations turned the request lines off - from day one with Soft And Wet in '78, Prince gave us hit after hit after hit, all of it was a sound so unique, nothing compared to what he did, and those of us who were around back then already know that no one else will impact the music scene like he did, those days are over, sorry if you missed it, it will never come again
R.I.P. Prince Rogers Nelson
I just looked in the Dictionary try'n to find the definition of F U N K Y, and I'll be Damn...This song was there. DEFINED AS:
"A particular blend of Sickness, Rhythm, Groove, Nastiness, A Hellishly Hard Hit'n Baseline, A Drum line that keeps time perfectly, A Guitar Lick & Key Board that's almost unimaginable and the Color Purple embodied in an Entity called PRINCE". Lol!
Prince was bad ass. Sept 7th everyone a CD is coming out in stores. The list of songs looks awesome. It's gonna have a unreleased version of purple rain on it.
The day Prince died I got a call from My Son, first of all he was checking on me to see if I was alright about hearing the news, the second thing he said was Dad everybody talking about Purple Rain, he said I told my classmates, My Dad taught me about Prince b4 Purple Rain! I was so proud! Peace!
