Don't know about you but to me jazz is such inspiring music. Robert Glasper is ideal soundtrack to me when I'm studying or writing my spoken word poetry :). Jazz is pure artistry!
It is a true spiritual experience listening to this song. Much is conveyed through it, it ranges from the melancholic to the exhilerant, from quiescent to explosive, from structure and harmony to visceral emotivity. It is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard. Listening attentively to this song makes me feel like I have already done something meaningful with my day. Please, never stop making this kind of music.
you could make a beautiful Sunday meal listening to this album like pot roast with collard greens and yams and a 3 layered German chocolate cake ha ha all from SCRATCH.....
I like that mood. So nice feeling when I listening this song. I remember autumn park in my small city. Very interesting combination of harmony... not sad but not fun. Something dies but something born. One of my favorite composition. And I never heard that song in live session. Why?....
