Fare thee well
My own true love
Farewell for a while
I’m going away
But I’ll be back
Though I go 10,000 miles
10,000 miles
My own true love
10,000 miles or more
The rocks may melt
And the seas may burn
If I should not return
Oh don’t you see
That lonesome dove
Sitting on an ivy tree
She’s weeping for
Her own true love
As I shall weep for mine
Oh come ye back
My own true love
And stay a while with me If I had a friend
All on this earth
You’ve been a friend to me
I have been reading this book,a Magician who often leaves his apprentice because of his overwhelming feelings for them.
It was during the plague that time and they fought once as to leave or stay.
After returning for a very long time,he enters in the shop to see nobody. . .only to find out that the apprentice is dead, burned.
The court being the reason as to why they died.
I almost cried listening to this the first time because I had a friend that I’ve known since I was six and We hadn’t seen each other since I was eight. I’m fifteen now and We have finally gotten to see each other again. I love her. I always will.
I don't know if anyone else feels this but every time I listen to this song my heart hurts with the love and passion he puts in his music. His songs make me remember how lovely our life is .
When I hear this I think of my best friend, he's gone now not dead not hurt but gone I don't know where he is if I only knew right where he was, well I would go more than 10,000 miles
