Love this song, but it makes me feel a bit lonely. Must be the text...

This is one of the silliest, sweetest, prettiest and ultimately saddest songs ever written. 

FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG!! ahhhhh been searching ..... a beautiful song stuck in my subconscious for eons. Dunno the artists or title... suddenly for years n years the lyrics "clouds across the moon" suddenly appeared in my brain... i knew how the melody goes ..... not the lyrics ... the rest of the credit goes to Google!!!!

I used to listen to this song when I was a little girl in Brazil. At that time I didn't know its meaning. But it just sounded beautiful in my ears. Today I live separated from my husband. And when I listen to it, specially to these words: " Hi darling, the kids say they love you. Hey baby, is everything fine with you? Please forgive me but I am trying not to cry", it makes me so sad... I never thought I could feel like the woman in this song. Though my husband doesn't live on Mars, it seems to me he is so far away from me and our children. It is always sad when the love is gone
