The producer of this album is John Leckie. He produced some of the classic Pink Floyd stuff as well. He said that before they were recording Nick would play the most amazing guitar parts that left him speechless. He’d tell Nick that what he was playing was great and asked If he could play it when the tape was rolling. Nick of course would play something completely different. Apparently he was somewhat improvising all the time much to the producers frustration. He is really one of the best guitar players of the 90s. Sadly he doesn’t get much notice.
