Ware & Wright were the two biggest losses to the human league in my opinion. I wish I had been lucky enough to have seen the original line up but hey, I'll take the suffering of having two great bands instead. I always felt the Oakey wrote great lyrics too and many of his songs are still very on topic right now. Love action still resonates to this day and always will. These talented guys made Sheffield the place to be when times were dark and Thatcher was doing her damage, now being added to.
We really , REALLY need these types of politically aware bands. We had so many in the 80's. From the ska of the specials to reggae of UB40, the punk movement and synth bands. Where are the newest bands that want to make change and to write anthems for disenchanted youth, an old counts? Like me ?

Love this song and this version, Penthouse and Pavement. Also the band name came from the movie Clock Work Orange as quoted by Alex the Droog ..Heaven 17 was a big part of my musical influance
